About Cougar

Ideal home- Fenced yard with family home part of the day. 

Cougar came to us from a local shelter. Cougar was timid of people, but over the months, he has transformed! The ideal home for Cougar would have a fully fenced yard and someone home part of the day. He goes out every few hours for a break and uses pee pads if needed. No crating please. 

He weighs around 16 pounds. He is being fostered with other dogs and gets along fine 99% of the time,  but he has had a skirmish here and there(over toys), so we prefer that he go to a home without other dogs. He’s groomed every 6-8 weeks. Cougar loves to play with toys!

He also enjoys his daily dental chews. Cougar loves people but is a bit timid when you reach for him. He will take a few steps back until he gets used to you.

He’s a playful and sweet boy who can’t wait to meet his new family!
