Meet Sprout and Cooper both are 5-7 years old

Cooper and Sprout are Maltese males between 5–7 years old and weigh around 5–7 pounds (Cooper is slightly bigger by a pound or two). They came to us from a hobby breeder. They were matted and had very bad dental disease. During their time with us, they've had two dental cleanings each to keep their teeth in tip-top shape. Sprout lost all his teeth so won’t need any more dentals but Cooper, like most small dogs, will need a dental cleaning every one to two years.
Cooper loves everyone. He greets any stranger with a kiss and asks for cuddle time on your lap. He would stay on your lap 24/7 if he could. Sprout is a little shyer at first, but after a few minutes he too seeks attention and kisses. He loves when his foster mom talks baby talk to him and tears around the yard in excitement. When he’s really excited he lays on his back and offers up his belly for scritches. The boys are playful and happy and get along well with other dogs. Both boys have been house-trained during their foster stay and will need to be let out every few hours in their new home to maintain their good habits. They are not used to being walked on leash so will need a home with a fenced yard.
Cooper and Sprout are a bonded pair, so we want them to be adopted together. They grew up in the same home and are used to sleeping, playing, and spending all day together. Cooper, who is a little more outgoing, gives his brother Sprout confidence and reassurance. Their adoption fee total will be reduced to $800.00 ($400 each). Both boys are healthy, up to date on vaccines, neutered, and have had had extensive dental care.
Meet Star, 5-6 years old
A favorite among our volunteers, Star is known for her affectionate and sweet nature and her spunky playfulness—a perfect Maltese princess. Star’s foster mom describes her as a “beam of sunshine” who is full of love and gentleness. She loves lap time and gives lots of kisses and enjoys being kissed and fussed over by her humans. She especially likes to sleep or nap with her people. Star gets along well with all the dogs in her foster home and has never met a person or dog she doesn’t like.
Star is around 6-7 years old and weighs around 10 pounds. She enjoys spending time in a fenced yard looking for just the right spot to eliminate. As she is okay with going on walks, we would prefer for her to go to a home with a fenced yard just because its what she is used to.
Meet Lacey 9 years old
Lacie may be tiny(7 pounds), but her personality is anything but small! This spunky little sweetheart is full of charm and loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for scratches and snuggles.
When shes not soaking up attention, Lacie is on the hunt for the coziest spot in the house. If you cant find her, just check the nearest pile of blankets. She loves to burrow under them or tuck herself behind pillows for the ultimate comfy nap!
Shes a goofy girl who enjoys gentle play and sweet little nuzzles. Lacie isn't much of a barker; she only talks when she's trying to tell you something important. She walks beautifully on leash and is ready for neighborhood strolls. Plus, she comes with her own wardrobe and is excited to add to it! Lacey is full of life, looking for her forever home!
Meet Aspen!
Weighing only 5 pounds, Aspen may seem fragile, but this little girl has a lot of spunk and playfulness in her tiny body. Aspen is the type of dog who will run up to greet you with a kiss. Her goal is to sit on as many laps as she can! She LOVES to snuggle into a blanket and stay burrowed through the night. She is the PERFECT Chihuahua! She is a healthy and happy 6-year-old who is ready for her forever home. Aspen also gets along really well with other dogs. Honestly, she's about as close to perfect a dog as we ever see. Do yourself a favor and complete an application for a chance to adopt her.
