Ideal Home- A home without other pets.
Buddy came to CHR in rough shape, but we are happy to say he’s been checked out by our vet, and he’s ready to find his forever home. Buddy is blind, but we think he’s been that way for some time because he gets around so well that it seems like he has some sight left. He was seen by Vet Vision in Fairfax, and the eye doctor found that his right eye has dry eye and will need daily medicated drops.
On top of being blind, Buddy is going to be fitted with a leg brace because our vet found that he has no Achilles heel. We think Buddy has lived with this condition for some time because he has adapted to walking with an odd gait. Having the small leg brace on will help him walk normally.
Buddy has no idea that he has any disabilities. He greets strangers by wagging his tail and crawling into their laps. He’s a big snuggler and loves to curl up by your side. He’s potty trained and acts like he has no sight limitations. On top of snuggling with you, Buddy loves playing with toys. He loves treats and his meals. His current foster mom takes him for walks in a stroller, and he gets excited by all the strangers reaching in to pat him on the head. He LOVES people, and we know he will love you too.
