Latest News:

We took Lobo in to the Orthopedic Sports Medicine Group in Annapolis. Lobo will be getting updated X-rays and fluid from his
joints so we can determine his ongoing medical support. He's playful and getting a lot of love and attention in his current foster home.
We'll keep his page updated on his progress. His upcoming x-rays and procedure to take fluid from his joints will cost us an estimate of $700 dollars. Please, consider a donation to help this baby!

Meet Lobo

Here is Lobo on the Examiner

Lobo was rescued from a owner that couldn't afford his vet care. He was unable to walk normally so we took him to our vet immediately upon rescue. What the vets found was very disturbing. See Radiographs below.

Lobo's right leg had severe deformities causing a lot of pain. His left leg has a torn cruciate also causing pain. We have to get Lobo into surgery to help relieve his pain. His right leg will need to be amputated. His left cruciate will need to be repaired at the same time. Lobo will be on IV pain medications at the hospital for the rest of the week after his surgery because the pain will be so terrible. The cost for the surgery with our 50% discount will come to $2500. We're desperately asking for your help with a donation for Lobo's surgery. Lobo is a two year old Shih Tzu. He's way to young to be forgotten by euthanzing him to save cost. We'll see this boy to a healed and happy little boy, but we need your donation to make this possible. Let's give the boy a chance!!

Lobo's cart came in!! We're still working on his rehabilitation. He still can't walk, but we're hopeful he continues to improve!!!

Lobo is safe with his foster family. He continues to improve with his water therapy and supplements. Even though he's still not walking you can see he gets around in his handy carrier! :)
